James 2
18But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.
15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?
26As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
Just a few fragments from James.
I didn't get my point from James but it's good backup.
What I wanted to say is that it hit me suddenly today what part of the reason is that businesses collapse and organizations struggle and Churches split.
It's partly because of example.
All those who are leaders or who have control over something, have great influence.
Greater than you might think.
For example, a pastor is caught in something ungodly. Instead of just getting a new pastor the church is not only discouraged but might as well cease to exist.
Every person over eighteen can vote, but how many do?
this has a great influence over who becomes president.
The head of a business makes bad decisions and as a result the whole company is losing money.
The way you live your life will not only influence you, but can a have a very, very strong influence over others.
No matter who you are.
Not that it's all about what you do, just like faith without works is dead so works without faith in Jesus are dead.
But you will still influence others more by what you do than what you say.
And I know you might say that you don't influence anybody but trust me, you do, whether you
know it or not.

Wow, that's really true. Even if you think no one is watching, people are. You may have younger siblings, friends, and even other people around you that you don't know. For one thing, I'm watching. WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD...
...starting with ourselves.
this is really great =)
